A warm welcome to Nyehome Nurseries
|
Nyehome was first established in Crewe at the beginning of September 1966. Further nurseries were opened – Sandbach in 1980, Nantwich in 1986, Clatterbridge, Wirral in 1992 and Arrowe Park, Wirral in 1995. The founder of Nyehome, Nora Connolly, an ex Ward Sister with considerable experience in nursing, opened her first Nursery when she recognised the shortfall of good pre-school child care for her own children.
Our aim is for all staff to be qualified with an emphasis on continual training both inhouse and externally – we have an enviable record of long serving staff, which is a benefit to them the children and the company. Through experience we recognise the importance of having a well designed building (single storey) – with individual rooms having their own facilities. Each room having easy access to a garden/outdoor area – which is both convenient and especially important for access for Fire Drills. Each Nursery caters for children from birth to five years, where they are accommodated in separate rooms according to age. Holiday Club facilities are at selected Nurseries. The children progress at their own rate using the Early Years Foundation with activities prepared through observation and according to children’s interests, and are strongly encouraged to attain their full potential. The individual rooms all have their own daily timetables. Each Nursery has a Manager who is supported by an Area Nursery Manager and an active Managing Director, who is in contact daily and available daily. |
Working together for your child’s futureThe Nyehome approach is to work in close partnership with parents. We take the greatest care to provide a caring environment in which children enjoy an all-round experience that is educational and above all fun. As a result, we aim to give your child the skills, confidence and security necessary for a head start at school. At Nyehome traditional values and standards are still very important.
